Sympathizing terrorism: A new fashion in modern India

Its a fact…. and its growing in dangerous proportion, manured by the so-called human rights activists, media and the political bigwigs. Be it in the Delhi cop Sharma’s murder case, Gujarat bomb blast, ban of SIMI verdict, parliament attack case or the Kashmir issue.

Soon after the media celebrated the killing of MC Sharma, started the new controversy. One of the militant arrested after the encounter, Saquib Nisar, was not a terrorist and he is an MBA student……..Why an MBA student cannot be terrorist?, and soon flashed the news from his college authorities that he attended exams on the day of Delhi blast and he had a good conduct. But after that day the news almost vanished to nowhere creating feeling in viewer that , Saquib Nisar was indeed innocent. But truth was completely different. Yes Saquib attended all exams except that of the penultimate day of the blast. And infact he was on leave from his office (where he worked part-time) on the penultimate days of all the blasts that happened in Bangalore, Ahamedabad and Delhi. Moreover the Minister of Home, one of the senior most party leader of ruling coalition, came in support of its students which was fighting against government for their release

Now the Gujarat blast case, the day after Gujarat police arrested the militants in connection with the Gujarat blast, went the MPs of the party, which leads the coalition in the Centre to sympathize with families of those arrested. On the same day of the ‘SIMI ban’ controversy, the minister for railways, and Mulayam Singh came forward speaking against the ban of SIMI. The next is the most shocking of the lot. The culprit sentence for death punishment for 7/11 parliament attack case, Afzal, gained support from the mainstream political parties, and human rights activists started agitations for his release. Then the great Booker prize laureate Arundhathi Roy coming in open asking for the partition of Kashmir.

I am not against giving human consideration to the people who deserve it. But it should not be given to terrorists who have become great threat to humanity.

The most disturbing factor in this is that the outcry for human rights is seen only in the case of terrorists. Even when the 18 Indians boarded ship is held hostage in Somalia for the past 16 days, I don’t see any action taken or even discussed for their release. Why don’t those innocent people doesn’t have human rights. Or do the terrorists deserve more human rights than these innocent people.

This precedence should be plucked at root to further reduce the aftermaths. Its time for India to raise voice against terrorism, start debating in public and corner the political parties who use these for petty political gains.

  1. I saw a news channel discussion in which they where talking about the same thing. It happened that human rights guys put up a dharna before police station when police authorities refused them an appointment with the accused terrorist. Can some one imagine how ridiculous it is to put such pressure and blocking the law enforcement system.Suspects will be pulled in to jail. Its for the security of the nation. Why these fuckers never realize that. All are selfish assholes who want to be in limelight some how or the other. And its pathetic that there has been no cry from the so called human-rights guys in relation to the hundreds who died in the blast.I realy wish there was some strong laws and strong leaderships to kick the ass off such opportunistic idiots.

  2. I agree Arjun, in India the so called pseudo secularism which is played brilliantly.
Unfortunately even the brothers/sisters of other communities on seeing this believe they are targeted, which is far from true.
The fact is that if we have 10 terrorist attacks 8 may be caused by terrorists born to muslim parents. That is a fact now unfortunately, which we need to tackle, rather than putting the blame on something else and playing the pseudo secualr image, because the problem is stiff and the solution is as difficult; but who wants to solve it, bcos this gives the politicians as well as the media maximum mileage, unfortunately the common mam is the donkey always!!!!

  3. Hi Arjun,

Though i read ur post the day posted,I was waiting for a while for the truth to come out by itself..Can you please enlighten me how do i become a terrorist sympathizer or unpatriotic, simply by questioning something..Oh well, police and administration are not angels sent down to earth..Are they? What makes you strongly believe that those killed are TERRORISTS?Any proof? What makes people think they are qualified more than judiciary to pass verdicts.uh..If you can jump into conclusions,I too can and you have no right to question me right?

I never said that the killed ones are innocent..I don’t trust angel-police-team either..So i am keeping my fingers crossed until truth is reaveled..If they were alive once they were proved wrong,i’ld have personally shoot them dead..

Since people are too haste to jump into conclusions, both sides, nobody can point fongers at each other..

About human rights group..Are you implying that they talk only for minorities and never for hindus?????????????????????????

  4. Now pls read this and tell me why i should not doubt the media?Pls get out of the delusion ..

Although all newspapers and TV channels used the same source, the police, they differed in the basic facts reported about the police encounter in Jamia Nagar. THE DELHI UNION OF JOURNALISTS presents a critique of media reporting of the Batla House Police Operation

In this report we have analysed the reporting of the Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Hindu, The Indian Express (Delhi editions of September 20 and 21, 2008). Among the Hindi newspapers we have examined Dainik Jagaran, Amar Ujala, Dainik Hindustan, Jansatta, Punjab Kesari and Rashtriya Sahara; the Urdu newspaper we looked at is Rashtriya Sahara.

All newspapers have single source yet different ‘facts’..and you blame me of supecting..oh..sympathizing..
Sad you are not trying to see the other side…

Now don’t tell me this is again conspiracy..

    How many Bullets hit Sharma?

The TOI, IE, HT, Mail Today, The Hindu, Veer Arjun, Rashtriya Sahara, Hindi all say three bullets hit Sharma.

Navbharat Times says four bullets hit him.

Jansatta claims that five bullets hit him in the abdomen, thigh, left arm, upper part of the shoulder and right hip (Anchor story).

Rashtriya Sahara, Urdu reports four bullets hitting him, one each on shoulder, arm, back and right hip.

Rashtriya Sahara, Hindi claims that all the three bullets were taken out during an operation in Holy Family hospital

Amar Ujala also claims that bullets had been removed and quotes Dr. Rajesh Chawla to this effect. It says Dr Chawla was summoned from Apollo hospital. He reportedly told the paper that there was excessive bleeding because the bullets hit the lung and the lower part and after ‘bullets had been removed’, it was felt that Sharma may survive.

Subsequently post-mortem reports quoted by some of the dailies said that Sharma had been hit by only two bullets and both bullets had exited the body. No bullets were removed from his body.

    About Mohan Chand Sharma

Even in paying tributes to Inspector Sharma the papers have reported different facts. HT says that he had “shot dead 75 criminals and terrorists.” The TOI says he was “credited with the killing of 35 terrorists and the arrest of 80 others.” The IE says that “Sharma’s ‘kill tally’ stood at 75 criminals including 35 terrorists”. The Hindu says he was instrumental in “neutralising 35 terrorists and arresting as many as 80 militants.” It goes on to say he had ‘gunned down 40 gangsters’ and arrested ‘120′ criminals. Amar Ujala reports that Sharma killed 35 terrorists and 40 gangsters, nabbed 80 terrorists and 129 gangsters. It says he was involved in 75 encounters.

  5. Nimmy,

I will answer one by one
“how do i become a terrorist sympathizer or unpatriotic, simply by questioning something”

I didnt question you in person in my blog.If you felt so I am not responsible. Its something within u that has raised the doubt.

“What makes you strongly believe that those killed are TERRORISTS?Any proof? What makes people think they are qualified more than judiciary to pass verdicts.”

This particular case was investigated by the Central Governments,National Security Group , Delhi police’s Ant-terror Cell and Gujarat police. These teams are considered to be constituted with highly respectable officers. Then regarding judiciary, why are r u keeping a mum on Afzal Guru.He is sentenced to death punishment by the highest court in India. The same group of politicians and human rights group are crying for him also. They are not bothered about the 1000s killed by these rascals.

“About human rights group..Are you implying that they talk only for minorities and never for hindus?????????????????????????”

Did i ever say that in any portion of my blog. Its the venom within urself that made u think communal, not my blog.

“All newspapers have single source yet different ‘facts’..and you blame me of supecting..oh..sympathizing..”

Its not a big thing. All around the world when journalist report on certain things anomalies usually occur at the heat of the moment. At the same time you didnt see an interview by HT journalist to one of the captured terrorist. These are his words.’I am not apologetic to the blasts that we conducted.I am ready even to kill my mother for Jihad.’

“Even in paying tributes to Inspector Sharma the papers have reported different facts”

From the no:s that you have posted, i think every paper says more or less the same. Please check ur proficiency in maths.Every one says

He killed 35 terrorists and 40 other gangsters.
He arrested 80 terrorists and 120 gangsters.(Only diff is Amar Ujala says he arrested 129 gangsters instead of 120.Is this a big issue?????????)

Why u r keeping mum on MPs visiting the houses of terrorists and pledging support and Afzal Guru trial??????

“If they were alive once they were proved wrong,i’ld have personally shoot them dead..”

    Joke of the millenium:)

  6. Oh Arjun, you are so angry..

I didnt question you in person in my blog.If you felt so I am not responsible. Its something within u that has raised the doubt.

By ‘me’ I was reffering to all those whom you imply as sympathizers, bcoz we never had any personal talk on this..I am well aware of what and who I am..So pls spare me with my self-raised doubts..

Then regarding judiciary, why are r u keeping a mum on Afzal Guru

I request you not to divert from the topic..I am talking about you labelling suspecting people as sympathizers..and i am talking about suspects and not culprits..I hope you understand the difference..If judiciary had been great,India and its inhabitants would not have found themselves in the odd situation we are in now..

The same group of politicians and human rights group are crying for him also. They are not bothered about the 1000s killed by these rascals.

My small brain tells me that these people care mostly only for themselves..As you pointed in the main article, they talk about jamia and not somalia, bcoz jamia is in limelight now and they wanna share some space..Its stupid from our part to expect more from them..

Did i ever say that in any portion of my blog. Its the venom within urself that made u think communal, not my blog.

I wonder and feel sad why you made such a statement about me being venemous..Can you pls point out which part of that statement was higly offensive to you..I was just trying to imply my last point that these so called minority commisions are just drama players..

Its not a big thing. All around the world when journalist report on certain things anomalies usually occur at the heat of the moment

I disagree..As far as i see it,it is a big thing..Our society is already a disturbed and fragile one and media should take atmost care bcoz people make conclusion by reffering to media..Nobody goes out to Orissa or Jamia to understand things for themselves..Once the minds are corrupted and disturbed,no note of correction can bring back the old state of mind..Sorry i didn’t see the interview..Will look into it..Again here, you are trying to imply that i am talking for terrorists..

From the no:s that you have posted, i think every paper says more or less the same. Please check ur proficiency in maths.

Thansk for the advice.I’ll surely learn more maths..Between,this news has nothing to do with my conspiracy-loving brain..If you have issues, pls contact this address,as it is them and not me who issued the press note..

Why u r keeping mum on MPs visiting the houses of terrorists and pledging support and Afzal Guru trial??????

Again Afsal..Pls read my blog post to understand my stand on this..

“No time to complain, time to be wise”

    Joke of the millenium:)

I am glad you enjoyed the joke 🙂

Finally,I still wonder why you sounded highly offensive and angry and label me venemous….Can’t we agree to disagree?

    Good Day.

  7. I understand that the my comments really hurt you.Very sorry for that.It was not a comment by Arjun against Nimmy :-).It was comment by a person who believes a lot of sympathizing for terrorists is happening now against a person who doesn’t think so.Again very sorry if it hurt u personally, no offenses meant. 🙂

  8. 🙂 Nevermind..No sorry pls..Afterall,as I said above, both of us have the same intention of having peace around us..

I agree with you things are not going fine..But understand that it is not sypathizing..
#A portion of the people are really deluded to think that everything in this world is conspiracy against them.

#Some people are on moderate path thinking that there is something fishy, but they don’t have any proof to claim their doubt..

#Yet another set of people, including the majority are just making use of this panic situation as to have personal gain..They are not protesting bcoz the lives and agony matters to them..They do it for many many reasons, maybe political maybe personal and like..

I am a least informed person and i don’t have much know-how about politics,so my reading may not be right..But this is how i see it..

    Cheers..
